Name 4 places to save an electronic document and tell the pros and cons of each one.
1. Jump Drive ~
Pros - You can transport a jump drive anywhere.
Cons - It can easily be lost, broken, or left behind in a computer.
2. Network Drive ~
Pros - You can open up your documents on any Fairmont State Computer.
Cons - You have to be logged into a Fairmont State computer. You can't use a wireless connection to open the network drive.
3. Desktop ~
Pros - I can find it easily when I am working on my laptop.
Cons - My hard drive could crash and I could lose everything. I can't open my documents on any other computer.
4. Google Documents ~
Pros - Its free and you can turn it into a web page.
Cons - If the internet is not working then that can be a big problem.

2. Learned about gmail chat.
3. Created a document on Microsoft Word.
4. Uploaded the document on Google Document.
5. Published the document on a webpage.

1. Created an account for a social bookmarking service called Delicious.
2. Bookmarked the Instructional Technology home page in delicious.
3. Discussed the "action research topic" that we will complete during student teaching.

First Blog Post

1. Discussed the ISTE NETS - T standards by clicking on the link on the homepage.
2. We learned how to safely save documents on fairmont computers without using a jump drive!
3. Next, I set up my very own blog. I picked out a blog name and a pretty layout.
4. Went to list links in the layout tab. Then added my links such as Facebook, Yahoo, Google, Fairmont State Homepage, and Blackboard to my blog home page.
