What makes a good web quest?
What makes a good WebQuest? A good WebQuest should be student centered and project based. It should consist of an introduction, task, process, resources, conclusion, and evaluation. It should be time effiecient for the lesson you are presenting. It should also be a group project that allows students to work together, but it needs to have individual work too. A good WebQuest needs to have a higher level of thinking. Technology based is great and it should be creative. A WebQuest should simply be a lesson that provides students with a different experience of learning that is fun, up to date with technology, and group centered.

Monday the 22nd
Today we finished up the last of the class presentations. We then learned about our first lesson we are going to produce. We will create a webquest that is student centered and project based. The webquest consists of an introduction, task, process, resources, conclusion, and evaluation. As of now I really have no clue what this will be about. Perhaps I can design a tour like expedition of how African Americans were sent to North America. Then maybe the students could each make a travel brochure. I will continue to research and brainstorm ideas for my webquest.

Almost Spring Break!
People continued to present their presentations. We had presentations on science, history, geography, reading, and health. We learned again that you should always back up a jump drive, because Heather's crashed.

Today
Today in class we asked any questions we had about our sites. I fixed my Curriculum page to have subpages of the WV CSO's, National Content Standards, etc. But I accidentally deleted the Curriculum page when I was trying to delete a subpage. It was very frustrating! We looked at the River City framing questions to help us get a guidline to our essential, unit, and content questions. We then completed a module 3 worksheet to help us understand esssential questions. Our homework is to do the 2nd page of the worksheet.

Monday Morning
Today in class we learned how to create a page in google sites, as well as how to delete a page. I also edited my standards page to say curriculum. Scrolling down a page is bad! haha So we added subpages to our site. So the internet is super slow and we aren't getting much done. And after I posted this, I realized that we don't need to make a blog post for today.
